Cornhole Tournament

Join The Arc of Union/Cabarrus for our annual Cornhole Tournament—a fun community fundraiser that supports programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families across Union and Cabarrus counties.

Each fall (or spring, depending on the year), teams gather for bracket play, prizes, and time with friends who share a commitment to inclusion. Money raised helps fund advocacy at IEP meetings, Sibshops for siblings, Aktion Club service projects, and emergency assistance when families face unexpected hardship.

Registration & format

Teams usually compete in a doubles format. Registration fees and sponsorships are announced when the event is opened. Early registration is encouraged—popular weekends fill quickly. If you need an accommodation to participate, contact us before the event so we can plan with you.

Sponsorship opportunities

Local businesses can sponsor the tournament at multiple levels: title sponsor, hole sponsor, team sponsorship, or in-kind donations (food, beverages, prizes). Sponsors are recognized on event materials and our website where applicable. Email or call our office for the current sponsorship packet.
