Cornhole Tournament

Cornhole for a Cause

Our Cornhole Tournament is one of the most popular community fundraisers supporting The Arc of Union/Cabarrus. Each year, businesses, families, and friends form teams for a day of friendly rivalry, food, and fellowship—all while raising critical dollars for advocacy, recreation, and family support programs.

Whether you are a seasoned bags player or picking up a board for the first time, you are welcome. Many teams join to support a friend or family member with a disability; others come because they believe in inclusive communities. Everyone leaves knowing they helped expand opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Union and Cabarrus counties.

What to expect

  • Team registration (doubles format; details announced each season)
  • Bracket play with prizes for top finishers
  • Opportunities for corporate and individual sponsorship
  • Family-friendly atmosphere—spectators are encouraged

Why your support matters

Fundraisers like our cornhole tournament help The Arc provide direct services that are not fully covered by grants alone—from one-on-one advocacy at school meetings to Sibshops for brothers and sisters, Aktion Club leadership for adults with disabilities, and emergency assistance through programs such as Operation Arc Angel.
